Missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints | 09/05/05
Elder Dabb and Elder Beck are missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They are part of a large group of young men at least nineteen years of age who spend two years each on long-term proselytizing missions.
They spend each morning studying the bible to prepare for questions that people they meet might ask. Then they leave their apartment in Montrose to engage individuals in religious discussion. Elder Beck characterizes their encounters: "We meet people and ask them about their beliefs. Then we explain to them what we know is true."
